Summary

1. Information stored on your device

The game keeps its save in private app storage: progress, currencies, units and upgrades, settings, daily counters for ads and missions, and purchase records (product ID and purchase token) used to deliver each purchase once and to restore the subscription. It stays on your device until you reset it, clear the app’s storage or uninstall the game. If Android backup is enabled on your device, the save may be included in your Google backup under Google’s settings.

2. Cloud save and rankings (Google Firebase)

On first launch the game creates an anonymous account with Google Firebase Authentication (no name, email or phone number). Linked to that ID we store: a copy of your save file (to restore progress on a new install), and for online rankings your score, best wave, a display name made from your friend code (for example “Witch·AB12CD”) and the time of the record. Rankings are visible to other players. Data is stored in Google Cloud (Seoul region) under Google’s privacy policy. You can delete all of it at any time in Settings › Delete online data, which removes your cloud save, ranking entries, friend code and the anonymous account; or email us.

2-2. Optional Google sign-in and Google Play Games

You may choose “Sign in with Google” or Google Play Games sign-in to carry your progress to another device. With Google sign-in, Google shares your Google account name, email address and profile picture with the game, and Firebase links that Google account to your user ID. With Play Games, Google shares your Play Games player ID. We use this only to find and restore your progress and to show which account is linked. It is deleted together with your account (Settings › Delete online data).

2-3. Error reports

If the game hits an error or closes unexpectedly, it sends an error report to our Firebase project so we can fix it: the error message and where it happened in the game code, the game screen, game version, device model, Android version, graphics chip, memory use, frame rate, language setting, time, your online user ID, and the last few lines of the game’s own log. Reports contain no save contents, name or email, are readable only by the developer, and are deleted after 90 days.

2-1. Time check

To keep daily rewards fair, the game may ask a public web address (Google or Cloudflare) for the current time. Only a standard web request is sent; no game or personal data is included.

3. In-app purchases and subscription (Google Play)

Purchases are handled by Google Play under Google’s terms and privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). Google gives the game a purchase record (order, product, time, token); the game uses it to deliver the item and confirms delivery back to Google Play. The subscription renews monthly until you cancel it in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions. As the developer we receive Google Play transaction reports (for example order number, item, price, date, country) and use them only for accounting, tax, refunds and fraud prevention.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google LLC). To serve, limit, measure and protect ads it may collect device identifiers including the advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from it, device and app information, and ad interaction data. Where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) the game asks for consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform before personalised ads are shown. You can reset or delete your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalisation in Android Settings › Google › Ads. Google’s use of this data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

5. Children

The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Support requests

If you email us, we receive your address and what you send, and use it only to answer you.

7. Changes

If data handling changes (for example if online features are added), this page and the Google Play data-safety section will be updated before the change ships.

iPhone (App Store) version

On iPhone, purchases of gem packs and the monthly “Witch's Oath” subscription are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's terms and privacy policy; we never receive your payment details. The iPhone version shows no ads, contains no advertising SDK and does not track you. Google sign-in and Google Play Games are not offered on iPhone; the anonymous cloud save, error reports and deletion (Settings › Delete online data) work the same way. Refunds for App Store purchases are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
